Tee

Yes, it's cooking! My name is Tee. I grew up by the ocean in an amazing multicutural foodie city in West Malaysia. I have lived in one of the most rural town in East Malaysia where friendly local native women sold fiddlehead ferns and hill paddy in the street markets. My first experience with soft, fluffy snow was when I was a student in the most greenest city in Southwest England. Home is now in the Western Great Plains in the US. In a hot wok, she’d toss the noodles with garlic, onions, bean sprouts, thin soy sauce, her very-own pasture-raised eggs, and fresh-off-the-boat prawns. Often she’d pack …

Valentine’s Day Special: Portrait of Bluebird

Happy Valentine’s Day, darlings! I’m not really a big Valentine’s Day person. Gifts come and go. But memories linger. This might sound a little cheesy, but I do thrive on love, affection, thoughtfulness, caringness, and humor. Just knowing that I Love and I’m LOVED sweetens my day. Like sunshine. Like this pretty homemade moist Malaysian …
